Administrative Specialist

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined.
Specialized Experience Requirement For the GS-09 grade level: You must have one full time year of specialized experience, equivalent to GS-07 level in the Federal Service or comparable experience not gained through Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include: experience that demonstrates a fundamental knowledge in administrative specialties such as contracting and procurement, management analysis, human resources management, budget and financial management, support services, and work measurement.
OR Education at the GS-09 grade level: Two full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's, or equivalent graduate degree (LLB, JD, LLM, Ph.D., etc.), from an accredited college or university with a major in human resources, social or behavioral sciences, or in such fields as business or public administration or industrial management, psychology, labor relations, education. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience as listed above.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-11 level: You must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through federal service. Examples of specialized experience defined as experience independently performing a range of administrative specialties, such as contracting and procurement, management analysis, human resources management, budget and financial management, support services, and work measurement.
